Play as a physician in Imperial Rome competing for reputation and influence among peers. Place workers to plan up to six actions before choosing when to resolve them; actions include recruiting and treating patients to gain knowledge in the four humors, publishing treatises from acquired knowledge, procuring medicinal herbs, visiting the baths to restore resources, or adopting new philosophical schools. At year’s end, use focus and accumulated knowledge to contest for reputation. Publishing influential works and dominating medical contests earns standing with the leading authority and access to exclusive opportunities.
