A reference guide for fantasy, horror, and adventure role-playing games, containing more than 1,000 magical items, including rings, potions, weapons, armor, amulets, gems, and other mystical objects. It also includes artifacts drawn from Greek, Egyptian, Babylonian, Jewish, Christian, Islamic, Russian, and other traditions, such as the Head of Medusa, the Ark of the Covenant, and Excalibur. Each entry provides game descriptions, rules for adapting the item to different RPG systems, legends, stories, variations, and illustrations. The material can be used as background for adventures and campaigns or to define the equipment carried by characters.
