Spacefaring characters arrive on Anson, a seemingly quaint world where life follows the slower pace of the 20th century. Their stay brings them into contact with organized crime, guerrilla warfare, harsh plantation labor, dangerous native wildlife, and unfamiliar religious rites. The scenario combines exploration and investigation with survival in a primitive society, while customs officials temporarily confiscate the characters’ advanced equipment. The characters must navigate Anson’s local dangers and uncover an ancient secret before they can leave.
