GURPS Traveller
A science-fiction roleplaying game set across an empire spanning more than 11,000 star systems, from crowded spaceports and metropolitan worlds to isolated frontier outposts and unexplored regions. Characters may be merchants, diplomats, soldiers, nobles, criminals, or combinations of several roles, undertaking trade, political intrigue, exploration, mercenary operations, and conflicts with alien mysteries. The game uses the GURPS rules, with procedures for creating new characters and converting characters from other Traveller systems. Modular starship construction supports ship design and space combat, and the setting presents an alternate history in which Emperor Strephon and the Third Imperium survive to face new challenges.
