A bleak pastoral hamlet suffers under the rule of Count Leopold, a cruel tyrant whose fortress is surrounded by malformed offspring and fearful subjects. Food and morale are scarce as the villagers seek vengeance, hoping to overthrow their master and choose a less oppressive ruler. This one-page setting is designed for use with most roleplaying systems, including Troika! and Kriegsmesser. It includes several pastoral randomizers and can serve as the site of an uprising or a brief roadside stop before further adventures.
