Hànzì

Players travel back 3,600 years to study under Cang Jie, the legendary creator of Chinese characters. They identify symbols inspired by forms in nature and develop the foundations of written Chinese culture. Double-sided cards show ancient characters on one side and their later traditional forms on the other. Each turn, a player selects a task card presenting a theme, then scores points by identifying two matching characters among the ancient symbols. The first player to earn ten points wins.
