In the Realm of the Elm King
A muted village festival conceals trouble, as preoccupied villagers offer little welcome and speak in suspicious whispers. Player characters investigate the village’s troubles through a series of encounters and challenges involving detailed NPCs, monsters, maps, and a battle mat. Designed for four to six 1st- to 2nd-level characters, with options for higher-level parties, the adventure includes hooks leading from the village of Vew, Frandor’s Keep, or another campaign location. It can be played as a standalone scenario or incorporated into an ongoing campaign.
