Iro

Abstract strategy game for two players in which each piece’s unique color pattern determines how it moves. Players arrange colored tiles to form the board, deploy pieces across their starting rows, and keep others in reserve. On a turn, a player either swaps a board piece with one from their reserve or moves a piece up to three orthogonal or diagonal spaces. The route must match the piece’s colors, with repeated colors allowing additional movement through that color. Landing on an opponent’s piece sends it to reserve. The first player to reach the opponent’s starting row wins.
