Soviet Volkhov and Leningrad Fronts launch a January 1943 assault to break the German bottleneck at Ladoga and relieve Leningrad after more than 900 days under siege. This operational World War II game covers ten daily turns, with hexes representing about one kilometer and units ranging from battalions to regiments. Players manage Soviet attacks and German defensive responses through standard Battle Series rules, special rules, events, and scenario-specific victory conditions.
