Japan: Empire of the Setting Sun
A strategic wargame covering Japan’s expansion across China and the Pacific from 1937 through 1945. One player directs Japan’s military and political efforts, while the opposing player commands the Allied response. Players plan campaigns, move forces across land and sea, manage resources and production, and resolve battles involving ground, naval, and air units. The game also models diplomacy, Chinese resistance, strategic objectives, and the growing pressure of an extended war.
