An ancient cosmic horror awakens and descends on the city to battle other monsters for dominance. Players take the role of that entity using new evolution cards to alter abilities and dice outcomes while fighting in King of Tokyo or King of New York. The box adds cultist/Temple tokens that grant a one-time bonus—1 life, 1 energy, or an extra roll—when captured, and introduces new units and buildings to contest in New York.
