King's Gate
An old king is dying without an heir, and four feudal lords compete to control the capital and claim the throne. Players place shops, barracks, and other districts around important locations such as the palace, royal library, and wizard’s tower. Opponents can build over existing neighborhoods or send the dragon to destroy them, making each placement a contest of expansion and defense.

Tom5.9 Quick and fun, with a small fantasy flavor. Looks really nice when laid out, and there is quite a bit of strategy, also. See my review for more details.
