King's Life
The king has grown irritable after a day of tiresome duties, so his courtiers must devise entertainments to restore his good mood. Across the week, players propose plans for activities such as hunts, feasts, tourneys, and balls. Players form alliances, make their case, and compete to present the most appealing ideas. The courtier who best matches the king’s changing demands earns his favor and a place on the royal council. The game supports up to eight players and plays in about 30 minutes.
