シュティッヒルン

Players try to collect cards for points while avoiding cards in a single color they designate as their “pain” each hand. At the start of a hand each player secretly selects and reveals one card; its color becomes that player’s pain color. Tricks are led and each player follows by playing one card; if all cards in a trick share the lead color the highest card wins, otherwise the highest card of any non-lead color wins (cards of colors other than the lead effectively act as trumps). A zero card never wins. Collected cards in a player’s pain color score negative points equal to their face value; all other collected cards score +1. Play a number of hands equal to the player count and total scores to determine the winner.
