Kriegsmesser
A tabletop roleplaying game inspired by European history from around 1453 to 1630, presented through an anachronistic and lightly detailed setting. It includes 36 character backgrounds compatible with Troika!, along with custom rules for standalone play. Essays, game master tools, random tables, rules for horrible injuries, recommended media, and historical woodcut art round out the zine. It focuses on grounded historical influences rather than high fantasy, with no orcs, evil gods, wizards, or other conventional fantasy elements.
