La Bataille de Raszyn 1809
This simulation covers the 1809 battle in which an Austrian corps under Archduke Ferdinand d’Este advances on Warsaw and Polish forces under General Poniatowski defend a vital river crossing amid restricted crossings and swampy terrain. Polish troops have strong morale, supported by Saxon forces, while the larger Austrian army includes Hungarian and Galician infantry, Grenz troops, and elite cavalry. Each 20-minute turn includes command, movement, cavalry charges, fire, melee, and morale checks for both sides. The historical scenario is joined by two alternatives with different orders of battle and arrival times. Updated Premier Rules add clearer organization and command-control rules.
