La Sagrada Familia (fan expansion for Carcassonne)

A tile depicting the Sagrada Família adds a permanent landmark to the city of Carcassonne. Once placed, the city may continue to expand but cannot be completed during the game; if the tile completes a city, it scores 0 points and the meeples return to their owners. At the end of the game, the city is scored as incomplete. If the tile cannot be placed legally, or another tile can only be placed by completing this city, it is removed and a replacement tile is drawn. A variant allows the city to close for 0 points, with meeples remaining until the end of the game.
