Lake Trasimene

Recreates Hannibal’s ambush on the Roman army commanded by Gaius Flaminius during the Second Punic War. Players command Carthaginian and Roman forces on a map reflecting the lake and surrounding terrain, using tactical rules to execute movement, formations, and combat. Includes two scenario options: a historical reconstruction in SPQR-style and an alternate variant adjusted for balance. Both scenarios come with full rules support in standard and Simple Great Battles of History formats, allowing play at different complexity levels.
