Level 0 Character Tumbler
A character-funnel system for old-school fantasy roleplaying games. Each player creates four level-0 characters with a race, profession, and a few basic possessions, then sends them into a dangerous dungeon. Characters who survive the hazards and gain enough experience become level-1 adventurers, choosing a class and continuing into the campaign. The rules are designed for Basic Fantasy and can be adapted to other OSR systems.
