Lord of the Rings: The Adventure Deck Game

A solitaire adventure in Middle-earth follows Frodo on a journey to Mount Doom, where he must destroy the One Ring before Sauron’s power overwhelms him. The journey can last no more than 25 days, with allies such as Aragorn and Legolas offering help while Trolls, Nazgul, and other enemies inflict wounds. Each turn, the player chooses a direction and draws the required number of cards, adding their aggression values to determine the attacks suffered. Longer routes advance the quest more quickly but increase the risk of defeat. The player may rest to recover, use one item, or activate the Ring to avoid attacks while advancing the Witch King’s track. The game centers on push-your-luck decisions about speed, danger, and limited resources.
