In 1920s Arkham, a wealthy bibliophile dying of lung cancer turns to his collection of occult books in search of a way to escape the consequences of his crimes. Players investigate the strange volumes, uncover the secrets of Portman’s final experiment, and confront the supernatural forces surrounding his attempt to prolong his life. This scenario is presented as a free PDF from the Arkham Now supplement, retaining the original page numbering.
