Players run rival musical talent agencies and manage a personal board representing their roster. They assign musicians to complete compositions that have specific instrument and skill requirements, score completed works, and balance payroll costs. Unassigned musicians count as negative points at game end, so players must optimize hiring, assignment, and retention. Actions include recruiting, paying, and occasionally poaching musicians from opponents to fill gaps and meet composition needs.
