Magic Items as Characters
A short Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition supplement for creating sentient magical items as player characters or NPCs. It uses the familiar feats, classes, powers, and level system to build items with their own abilities, personalities, and goals while maintaining the game’s existing balance. Such characters can join an adventuring party, serve as powerful weapons sought by others, or become independent figures in the campaign’s mythology.
