Village of Familiar

Village of Familiar is a board game for 3–4 players. It plays in 30–60 minutes and is meant for ages 14 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 4. The cheapest copy in stock is ￥3,579 (日本).

As graduation season arrives at a magic school, apprentice witches must pass their final exam by creating a comfortable village for their familiars. Players gather resources from the forest and build increasingly tall magical tree houses. The game uses real-time card drafting. During the planning phase, players collect construction plans and can occasionally use magic to influence one another. In the construction phase, these plans become buildings, while familiars help preserve forest resources. After four rounds, players score their buildings, abilities, and completed challenges. The player with the most victory points wins.
