Mazescape: Ariadne

A solitaire puzzle game of folded paper labyrinths set in ancient Crete. The player unfolds and refolds a map, starting at a compass rose and moving a pointer along printed white paths without lifting it, negotiating bridges, ladders and layered passages as the paper’s folds open new routes. Each box contains seven different maps that present progressively tricky configurations and hidden features; the goal on each map is to locate an Impossible Triangle to escape and, on later challenges, to reach optional hidden treasures and a final confrontation with the minotaur. Gameplay emphasizes spatial reasoning, route planning and trial-and-error discovery.
