Mea Culpa
Sin, redeem, make money. Players take on roles such as the Pope, Emperor, Merchant, or Little Sinner, then buy and sell goods, visit the brothel, and secretly donate money and goods to the church. As cathedrals are built, the largest donors receive letters of indulgence. Special actions and perks require players to commit sins, moving their poor souls toward Hell. At the end, indulgences determine how far each soul can return toward Heaven, and the player who finds the right balance wins.
