Eschaton

Players compete to lead the most favored cult in the final days before Armageddon. The setting frames a collapsing world where a single unholy mass will be chosen by a Dark power and all others will be destroyed. Gameplay uses deck-building and area presence on a realm map. All players start with identical basic cult decks and equal map presence, then use the Influence of recruited cultists to add new members, perform battles, and cast arcane effects. Different cultists offer combat strength, magical abilities, or greater Influence to enable further recruitment as players seek to score the most Points of Favor.
