An expansion for Star Fleet Battles: Captain's Edition introducing the Mechad, a star-faring race of machines. It includes rules for new systems and weapons such as Bolaar phaser capacitors, electromagnetic fields, power distribution nodes, trans-warp missiles, distortion cannons, and subspace whips. The expansion provides histories and three scenarios, descriptions for 25 Mechad units, a tournament command cruiser, and 24 Companion SSDs.
