Merry Monsters: An Icelandic Holiday Bestiary
This holiday-themed OSR supplement presents Icelandic folkloric monsters for fantasy campaigns: Grýla, her husband Leppalúði, the thirteen mischievous Yule Lads, and the fearsome Yule Cat. Together, they bring theft, pranks, and danger to an unlucky village each winter. The book provides monster-manual-style listings compatible with most OSR retro-clones, along with details on the creatures’ magical items and treasure. Each Yule Lad also receives a distinct fighting style for use in encounters.
