In 1990s Gothenburg, a group of vampires gathers under the direction of a powerful leader to carry out his obscure plans. They struggle against their bestial nature while trying to preserve their humanity and maintain the Masquerade, the hidden society that keeps their existence from humans. Players portray these creatures of the night as they navigate internal power struggles, manage their hunger, and prepare for events that demand careful planning and the right tools. Human lives remain part of the vampires’ secret world, both as necessary sources of blood and as witnesses to be kept unaware.
