Napoleon and the Archduke Charles: The Battle of Eckmuhl

A two-player historical wargame simulates the Battle of Eckmuhl, fought between French and Austrian forces on April 21–22, 1809. Players command the opposing armies on a map representing the battlefield, using rules for movement, combat, leadership, and morale. Each turn covers 35 minutes, with hexes representing 600 yards and strength points representing infantry, cavalry, or artillery. Victory depends on controlling objective hexes and inflicting losses. The game includes four scenarios and can be linked with a separate Battle of Abensberg game to form a larger campaign.
