Players expand the island’s landscape by placing Torii gates and routing electrical poles while avoiding interference with the sacred gateway. Careful placement around the Torii affects connectivity and scoring as poles and wires must be laid without crossing forbidden zones. Residents include roaming Maneki-neko figures that move between districts and provide bonus effects when aligned with infrastructure. Players plan tile placement and manage movement to optimize connections and district bonuses over several rounds.
