Fighters compete in a Tournament held in a futuristic ghost city, battling for their Corporations while exploring its Sectors for weapons and armor. Each round, players choose Action cards to determine turn order, then move, search for equipment, attack, defend, take control, or gain energy. Afterward, Sectors may submerge, damaging Fighters caught there and changing the Arena. Victory comes from scoring the most points, supporting a team, or being the last Fighter standing, depending on the game mode.
