N.E.W. Science Fiction Role-Playing Game
A versatile tabletop roleplaying game set in the far future, supporting adventures as bounty hunters, smugglers, starship crews, detectives, agents, traders, and more. Characters are created from a range of alien species and over 60 careers using a life-path system. Rules cover tactical combat, equipment, cybernetics, vehicles, scientific and engineering tasks, environments, and medical challenges. Starship combat supports both hex-based miniatures and abstract play, while additional guidelines cover crews, Away Teams, space travel, and building original star systems, planets, civilizations, creatures, and settings.
