Adds deeper 4X gameplay by expanding exploration, technologies, resources and asymmetric faction abilities. Players explore new star systems on an expanded galaxy map, use wormholes to link distant sectors, research technologies and exploit novel resources to develop their civilizations. The expansion introduces faction asymmetry, additional event and AI cards, and new systems that increase strategic options and replayability.
