Nightfall: Martial Law

Players take on factions of supernatural creatures and hunters struggling for control as society collapses. Each player builds and manages a deck of characters, actions and wounds while trying to damage opponents’ decks. Cards have a main color and two linking colors; players start and extend chains by matching colors. Chains resolve last-in, first-out, triggering instant effects and bringing characters into play to defend or attack. A feeding mechanic lets players boost chained orders for stronger outcomes. The goal is to inflict wounds into opponents’ decks while keeping one’s own deck as intact as possible; accumulating wounds accelerates a player’s deck and increases the threat they pose.
