On Wild Lands and Wild Folk
A tabletop roleplaying campaign setting inspired by Old Norse legends, set in the remote Wilds of Jorikk. Players explore a harsh wilderness of mountains, glaciers, seas, and boreal forests, facing trolls, dragons, sea-serpents, fierce gods, and human blood-feuds. The setting supports stories of hunting, exploration, feasting, seafaring, warfare, and desperate heroism. Characters can travel between timber halls and lonely wild places, pursue fame and treasure, and take part in shield-wall battles and grim sagas. It can be used as a Nordic-focused campaign setting with a range of fantasy roleplaying systems.
