Operations Special Issue #1 is a board game for 2 players. It is meant for ages 12 and up.

This special issue includes a World War II tactical game on the Battle of Iwo Jima, with an 88-counter set, along with articles and replacement counters for other games. ASL material features the Singling Campaign Game, a 25.5 × 22-inch map, Chapter Z notes, and two scenarios set in Singling, France. Players command American and German armored forces in a heavy tank engagement and its follow-up action. Additional scenarios cover the Roer River Plain, the Allied invasion of Sicily, and the German advance into Stalingrad.
