Patient Zero

Players lead survivors in one of four towns in a post-apocalyptic world while pursuing randomly assigned secret missions. Objectives may include finding Patient Zero, taking him to a research center, protecting citizens from infection, or spreading zombies into rival towns. Each turn consists of producing resources by rolling two dice, moving pieces across a hex-based map, and optionally attacking zombies or other players. Rolling a 7 can accelerate infection and turn pieces into zombies, causing players to lose control of them. Players use varied terrain and city areas to advance their objectives, while avoiding annihilation and completing their secret mission before the board is overrun.
