Persian Gulf: Battle for the Middle East

A late-20th-century conflict simulation set across Iran, Iraq and neighboring states that models political maneuvering and open warfare in deserts and mountains. Players conduct diplomatic and covert actions to sway Iranian factions and regional governments, then deploy regional and superpower forces as tensions escalate toward direct confrontation. Movement and combat reflect terrain and limited road networks; unit capabilities vary from irregular revolutionary guards and Afghan units to professional Turkish, Israeli, Jordanian contingents and U.S. and Soviet expeditionary forces. Maps detail the Persian Gulf region and rules handle Middle Eastern political rivalries, oil-based victory conditions, and optional integration with other titles in the same series.
