Plot Unfolding Machine

A setting-agnostic ruleset for solo roleplaying that helps determine what opposes characters and how their stories develop. It places conflicts at the center of play and tracks plotline progress, reducing the need for the player to invent every obstacle or scene. The system can be used with other solo RPG tools or played standalone with included oracles. It includes rules for scenes, challenges, and trouble, along with random tables and an example four-scene game.
