River Crossing

River Crossing is a board game for 3–5 players. It plays in 20–30 minutes and is meant for ages 10 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 5. The cheapest copy in stock is ￥3,070 (日本).

A trick-taking game based on the classic river-crossing puzzle, with a farmer transporting a fox, a chicken, and a bag of corn. Players predict how many tricks they will win and play cards to form tricks. Some tricks sink and do not count when the boat contains the fox with the chicken or the corn. If the farmer is part of the trick, he keeps watch and prevents it from sinking.
