Scum

Players compete to rise through a social hierarchy by emptying their hands of cards. Each round begins with a president and continues down through ranked positions to the player designated scum. The first player to play all their cards becomes president in the next round, while the last player out takes the lowest position. Higher-ranked players receive advantages over those below them, creating an ongoing struggle to improve position. Numbered cards are joined by President and Wild President trump cards, and variants give card colors additional effects.
