Seams of Peril
This scenario for a historical Lovecraftian roleplaying campaign draws on the early colonial history of New South Wales and the notorious convict James Daley, who claimed to have discovered a rich gold vein. Investigators examine the supposed find, Daley’s schemes, and the strange ore presented as evidence. Set during an inland expedition into the wilderness west of Sydney, the investigation leads to a mystery with several possible Mythos connections. It can be placed in any period covered by the campaign with minor adjustments, and includes historical notes and a reproduced period account of the case.
