Shadow over Nentir Vale (Fortune Cards)

A set of 80 themed cards for Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition, centered on the Nentir Vale and designed for D&D Encounters and home campaigns. Cards are divided into Attack, Defense, and Tactic types, with decks built from a balance of these categories. At the start of each encounter, players shuffle their decks and draw one card. A player can hold only one Fortune Card and play one per round without using an action. Cards provide temporary effects at specified times, then are discarded when their effects end; at the start of each turn, the player may keep the current card, discard it and draw a replacement, or draw a card if their hand is empty.
