Spire of Iron and Crystal (Swords & Wizardry)
This fantasy adventure centers on an enigmatic tower of iron girders and enormous crystals, standing on a ledge halfway down a sheer cliff. After researching its history, the adventurers travel into the wilderness with an expedition to reach its rumored riches. Once each year, a hidden causeway appears between the cliff and the tower for a brief period, allowing entry under specific celestial conditions. The scenario supports free-form exploration using the Swords & Wizardry Core Rules, with players investigating the structure, overcoming its hazards, and uncovering its secrets.
