Square on Sale

Players bid for the right to add stories to buildings on a grid of city blocks, using an auction mechanic to secure construction spots. When a player builds on two separate blocks, they also place a floor of their color on each building that lies between those two blocks, creating Othello-like flips across rows or columns. At game end, control of each building is determined by the topmost floor; players score points for buildings where their color occupies the top. The game blends area-majority and auction tactics as players compete to control the most valuable plots.
