Synthetic Dream Machine

A tabletop roleplaying game set in a strange science-fantasy world, using the SEACAT system originally developed for the Ultraviolet Grasslands. Characters resolve actions with d20 rolls plus one of six stats and other bonuses against a target number, making the rules broadly compatible with traditional fantasy games. The system includes a costly magic framework, mechanics that give significance to high dice results, and a stable of characters for each player who share experience points. These features support varied characters and changing approaches across an ongoing campaign.
