The Chalice of Blood
Ragnar cultists use a magical chalice that can never be filled to lure adventurers into their lair. Monsters guarding the relic hunt the intruders, sacrifice them to Ragnar, and feed the remains to a wyvern in the cavern’s depths. The cultists believe the wyvern’s eyes allow Ragnar to watch over them, while each offering of blood increases his power. The chalice is currently full of blood, and its command word—which would release the stored liquid—has been lost.
