The Hero's Quest

A guide for gamemasters creating and preparing journey-centered adventures for tabletop role-playing games. It uses a beat-sheet format to organize major story elements, track necessary research, and keep an adventure coherent from beginning to end. The framework works with any setting, genre, or rules system. Gamemasters apply their own player characters, world, and ideas, then add suitable encounters, challenges, villains, monsters, and non-player characters.
